News The Idol Wing of the State police recovered two ancient bronze idols of emperor Raja Raja Chola I and his royal consort Lokamadevi believed to be worth over ₹150 crore from the Calico Museum and Sarabhai Foundation galleries in Ahmedabad. Beyond News Restoration of the gold-inlaid manuscripts in two volumes at the Mak Dhog Monastery started earlier this year. Manuscripts contain the ancient Tibetan text called Gyetongba, which contains teachings of Buddhism. The manuscripts are in the Tibetan script Sambhota, named after its inventor.
