UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025 Date: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 results have been declared. According to media reports, over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025, competing for just 979 vacancies advertised this year. Historically, the number of candidates shortlisted for the Mains round is around 12 to 14 times the number of available vacancies. Based on this estimate, approximately 13,000 to 14,000 candidates are likely to clear the prelims stage this year and qualify for the mains exam, which is scheduled for later this year.
